Jermaine Burton was born to parents John and Angela Burton. He grew up in West Philadelphia and attended Lincoln High School, where he played high school football for the Raiders. In his sophomore year, he caught 34 passes for 580 yards and 9 touchdowns, earning him first-team All-City honors.
College Career
After graduating from Lincoln High School, Burton committed to play college football at North Carolina State University. In his freshman year, he played in all 13 games and caught 26 passes for 240 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was named first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) by the conference’s coaches.
